For those who didn't get it, worry not because you didn't miss alot; yet it was interesting. At first i thot that it was someone else actually singing the country tune. But after hearing the "twang" in Shawn's speaking voice toward the end of the show now i wonder. Anybody know? - -Rob (NP: Kim Richey- Glimmer. Thanks to bH for recommending this one! Long time no post.... I watched the Simpson's last night too... and yes, the song was DEFINITELY Shawn. My husband had a hard time figuring out who it was, too, but it was her. You have to listen to the way she pronounced some of her words... there were definitely trademark "Shawn-isms" in the song. I thought it was pretty good, even though I wish she had been given a bigger part. At least we have something else to talk about now! Ciao... And you and I and our other countrymen and women will need to wait till May 7 to see (or... errr.. hear) Shawn with our favourite yellow friends. Well, thats assuming my calculations are correct and that Channel 10 don't throw many spanners into the programming schedule as the bastards are known to do on almost a daily basis! They made it seem like she had such a big part, when it was really only about five minutes. Pretty good though. Really cool song. I never realized what a good country voice she has. But it really did seem unfinished. Ooh.. maybe she'll end up being Flanders new wife and being on the show a lot! Okay, Okay, I know, but hey, I can hope!
