And double-oy ..my VCR misfired last night (my 5 year old had to watch Mulan and nobody re-inserted my blank) Tell us more.. what song? Was it a new one or maybe something of Hornsby's? Did they go sit on the couch after the number. So what's the prognosis on the Supergroup? Post thy reviews- (bet our overseas friends need to know too.) So what's the prognosis on the Supergroup? Post thy reviews- (bet our overseas friends need to know too.)>> Ok, I just got done watching my taped copy. They sounded pretty good (Shawn especially was in good voice, imho). The song they did was End of The Innocence, which has always been one of my favorite songs (I didn't know Bruce Hornsby co-wrote that with Don Henly). I would've loved to hear more of Shawn doing that song, but i guess it was only fair to let Bruce do most of the singing, since it is kinda HIS song. They did get to sit on the couch, but Shawn didn't do much except pet a dog that was on stage for some reasong I don't remember. They just talked a little about how the group was formed, etc. I too loved the shoes, Jenn :) But I didn't really see anything wrong with Shawn's outfit. And David Lindley is indeed quite a sight. Oh, have they shown the before they were stars thing yet? I don't get VH1, and so would appreciate any reviews of that. Was it the same Shawn segment as last time? Op, gotta go-- just got called into work early. He plays all sorts of homemade slide guitars (and this cool 4-stringed middle-eastern instrument called the tsaz) and is truly just a FUN show -- usually just him and percussionist. He's not much of a singer, but you gotta hear him play those guitars. He usually does mostly covers of other people's songs, often with a cool reggae beat. And he intentionally wears all the tacky polyester clothes - the tackier the better. Anyway, I'm glad to see he's getting some national exposure. He's one of those artists who's played in relative obscurity for years and years, and got bilked out of most of the profits of his early albums... It was like a 5 minute segment at the very end. Also, I remembered some more from Leno. She ws wearing black and white pants with pink cuffs and a pink, sleeveless, blouse with white flowers. The shoes were sandels with clear tops and silver, glittery bottoms. The hair was light brown and had a cute little curly thing in the back. She seemed to be having fun, but was kind of quiet during the "interview". Thats all. The one you could see if you looked past Bruce's head. His hair looked like he stuck hi finger in a elctrical outlet.
