Well here's the deal: the Atlantic City show has actually been cancelled! The Sony website needs to be updated. The voices of higher up are not sure of the reason, other than there was a bit of shifting of Shawn's own dates when the Bonnie/Jackson etc. tour was being put together so maybe that's why. i hope you get to catch her elsewhere. Hope that helps. :) ~jean aka bH now playing: Flesh & Bone - Lucy Kaplansky - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from the list send mail to majordomo@smoe.org with 'unsub scribe small-repairs' in the message body. I was wondering if anyof you know if Julie Spped, the woman who painted the picture on the cover of AFSR, has a website. Also...... I am an obbsessive fan! It is officially true! i had a Shawn dream last night!I can't remember all of it but I tell you what I do remember. DON"T LAUGH! IT"S STUPID, I KNOW! So, Shawn and Kay and Geoff (and Clay, whoever he is) are at some party or concert or something. they are all wearing demin. But they decided they wanted to look for alike, so Shawn came up with the idea of making face decorations with beer, glitter, and glue. Weird I know, but thats all I remember. Davis" Subject: [s-r] Shawn's 6/7/99 performance Hi all. Well I saw Shawn last night at Humphreys by the bay in San Diego last night. A terrific show with Shawn seeming to be in a very good mood as well as Stuart. They did a lot of movie banter especially with Shawn having Stuart doing many Austin Powers impressions. She also did a lot of talking with the audience and even yelled at some of the people who had tied up boats in the bay by the side of the stage: Shawn: "hey look at that! Did you guys pay out there" Reply: "No but I bought your album". Shawn: "Well ok baaaaaby!" (like Austin Powers). She also changed some of the words to one song (for the life of me I can't remember which one right now) to include a reference to Point Loma (visable across the bay) and to 'Jewel's house' (who used to live here). I didn't write down the setlist but it was pretty similar to Susan's review of the Garden Theatre show; only our show was longer : ) We got 2 separate encores with 2 songs apiece, ending with my fave, Polaroids. The whole show was just shy of 90 minutes. A good time was had my all. I've had a crazy dream recently about Shawn too. One night I dreamt I kidnapped Shawn's cat and pretended that i found it and was returning it (when secretly it was just a false pretense so i could get invited over to her house). The kitty was a mix of orange and silver tabby. But when i got there she just said "thanks" and looked at me like i was evil for stealing her cat just to meet her so she slammed the door. LOL pretty bad, huh?? I wonder what Freudian psychoses that dream represents??!! I'm afraid to ask! 16 Days until Chapin at the Backyard!! Jonatha Brooke tomorrow nite!!!
