I see the link for going to CDNow from SMOE is "http://www.cdnow.com/from=sr-251740". The "/from=sr-251740" part is unusual because usually it's something like "http://www.cdnow.com/?from=sr-251740". It seems odd to me that the "?" is missing. Additional information would make it look like "http://www.cdnow.com?from=sr-251740&id1=123&id2=456". Anyway, I'm guessing that your customized bookmark is smiliar in that it sends indentification info about you to CDNow. You can use what I've shown you about how info is passed in a URL to try to combine the info from both URLs or you can send me your link and I'll see if I can put them together. It wouldn't hurt to contact CDNow, either. john > Seems like a reasonable request to me. I love this list AND CDnow, but I > do have one question that I'm thinking others might have as well. Then I realized, of course, that it must be Shawn doing "Between Two Worlds," a song off the soundtrack to Grace of My Heart. I hope if PO5 puts out another soundtrack that they put this song on it-- I could never get the Grace of My heart soundtrack, and now I don't ever see it anywhere. Actually, when going through the link, you'll see the same old CDnow front page that you are used to, only with a Small Repairs banner at the top (which is currently not working correctly, but soon should be). As far as logging into your account (i.e: My CDnow), your Wishlist and all of that should remain the same and work perfectly normal. Just remember, whenever you purchase something, enter CDnow through the link, so their database correctly credits the right account. Just wanted to add a note on the Party of 5 discussion, as someone who has had the same dilemma in the past when watching the show - ie. you hear a good song, you want to know who it is and it drives you nuts for weeks trying to think of it... well, while in one of these states of mind not long ago I decided enough was enough and did some serious web sleuthing to find out once and for all - and came across this fan site for the show - http://partyoffive.tktv.net/ - which has episode guides that also include - yes! the music featured in each episode! And thus I breathed a sigh of relief as I waded thru old episodes thinking to myself "ah HA! i *knew* i heard chantal kreviazuk in that episode a few weeks ago...." and things of that kind. For those of you who have never watched Po5 and really have no interest in doing so - honestly the music they play is one of the best reasons to give it a go. Its the only tv show i've ever seen that has played Shawn on numerous occasions, as well as Dar Williams, Patty Griffin (as Lindsey noticed - good song spotting Lindsey!), Nanci Griffith, Crowded House, Indigo Girls, Joni Mitchell and a host of others that we know and love. And never fear that i'm now going to try and turn s-r into a Po5 list... never gonna happen, since we down here are a season or so behind y'all up there in the US and I dont wanna find out what happens! kat :) - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from the list send mail to majordomo@smoe.org with 'unsub scribe small-repairs' in the message body.
