Shawn's words and music have pulled me through some emotional times in my life, and now that I'm on the happier side, I don't need to relive them. - -- Gary Garbett, editor KISSIN' Time, USA fanzine, http://kissasylum.com/ktusa/ - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from the list send mail to majordomo@smoe.org with 'unsub scribe small-repairs' in the message body. If anyone hasn't taken a look at Julie's please do so. It contains a ton of great pics, many of which I've never seen before. Also some nice sound clips from HS&L for any of you who have not picked it up (Kat?) yet. Text appears in English AND (looks to me like) French. Nice job Julie! Any of you Statesiders see Shawn on The View on ABC today? She looked very healthy, had Caledonia with her and they showed a nice closeup of that cute baby for a good 15 seconds or so. Callie appeared to be highly content (well, you would be too if you had her Mom singing lullabies to you all the time right?) Shawn did Rocking and sounded very strong of voice (though she did have one minor crack) They had seemingly the same excellent background vocalists from the recording, and a gorgeously sparse piano accompanyment from Doug Petty. Maybe Casey or bH (or ODB?) could let me know if it would work to attach a video still of the baby (and Shawn) to an E-mail through the listserver for all to enjoy! - -Rob biggcat@webtv.net - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from the list send mail to majordomo@smoe.org with 'unsub scribe small-repairs' in the message body. Had to say it was quite the painful experience -- it's like Kathie Lee x 4. Oy!! She did a marvelous job, and the accompaniment was excellent. Naturally, it was too short...always leaves us wanting more. Anyone know anything more about Doug Petty? I'm not familiar with him. Just wondered if he's got his own material out, studio musician, just a friend of Shawn's, etc...
