So - just letting you all know, in case you don't and want to, that Shawn's hero, the one and only Neil Finn, ex Split Enz, Crowded House and Finn, is releasing a much anticipated solo album very shortly. It's called Try Whistling This (which has me sold on it right there) and will be out in Australia and Neil's native New Zealand (aka home of the warrior princess) on June 15th - which does me no good at all, as I'm leaving the country on the 14th to go and not see Shawn at Telluride and Lilith Fair.... ;) (not that i'm complaining, mind you) Neil's also gonna be touring Oz and NZ in June/July (which also does me no good) and will probably be doing "the rest of the world" as you're all affectionately known, later on. I'm not sure when the album is released in the USA etc, but if it's earlier than here, I wouldnt be impressed! ;) Oh, and the first single off the cd is called Sinner, which sounds pretty good on the one time i heard it.
