Mick Fleetwood produced the disc, and the other artists I remember on it are Elton John (Don't Stop), Matchbox 20 (Never Going Back Again), the Cranberries (Go Your Own Way), Ducan Sheik (Songbird), Jewel (You Make Loving Fun), Sister Hazel (Gold Dust Woman), and the Corrs (Dreams). ~jean aka bH PS: Just got back from seeing 2 sarah McLachlan shows... unbelievable performances. Anyone who considers themselves a sarah fan has GOT to check her out on this tour. Lisa Loeb does a good opening set... and sarah played *23* songs. I had the opportunity to see her in a 10,000 seat venue (Hi Kelly! You're the Hostess wid the Mostest), and a 3,000 seat auditorium (Hi Lisa! I was seething with jealousy at how close your seats were! Glad to finally meetcha!).... both very very very good shows. The Setlist as Follows: (don't read any further if you want to be surprised!) ******Spoiler********* Building a Mystery Plenty Hold On Good Enough Do What You Have To Do* (piano only) Witness Wait I Will Remember You Ice I Love You I Will Not Forget You Path of Thorns Mary Adia Fear Elsewhere Vox Into the Fire Possession - ----------------- ** pseudo encore Ice Cream Sweet Surrender Fumbling Towards Ecstasy - ----------------- ** real encore Angel* (piano only---WOW.) I highly recommend this show... she played all but Circle off of FTE... there was a lot of guitar, and lights, and synth, and flash, and fluff... not a subdued show by any means... altho songs with sarah and just her piano were flawless and stunning. And she hit EVERY note in the song Fear.... (which i call the screeching song) pretty impressive. I knew sarah was good, but i didn't know she was THAT good. Whew! okay... time for bed. again. (i have got to break this sleep cycle!) :) ~j now playing: solace - sarah mclachlan - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from the list send mail to majordomo@smoe.org with 'unsub scribe small-repairs' in the message body. Hello SmallRepairers! Early last week, Meri Spake: << 2) OK, Jean (of The Substantial Coiffure), it sounds like you should know the answer to my earlier question: Who was the blonde-haired woman playing bass before L. Klein joined the AFSR tour? -Meri, still curious in DC- >> Thanks to the Shiny Happy People of AGF the mystery is solved (thanks Lisa A.!) ... Her name is Allison Prestwood. She lives in Nashville and plays with a number of country-type artists. I thought she was a nice addition to the AFSR lineup... Especially when the 3 women did their choreographed moves during Suicide Alley...It was better than the Macarena! hehheh... almost. there ya go. :) ~jean aka bH PS: hope yer feeling better, Meri. :) Vicks Inhalers rule! hehhehh. As I would expect, Sarah's show was musically incredible, but it was equally a "pretty" show to see. The lighting and stage presesnce of the band was very impressionable. If you get a chance, don't pass this show by.
