Lavochkin" Subject: [s-r] NCS - Today's Top Story: Officials Track BigHAIR In Today's Headlines: Washington, DC -- (UnAssociated Press) Officials from multiple law enforcement agencies have formed a taskforced to track the infamous pharmacist known only as BigHAIR. Sightings have been reported across the country. Blamed for three deaths in Patrick Springs, VA; little is known about BigHAIR or her agenda. Some eyewitnesses say she is on a "mission", while others feel she is merely on a road trip. Authorities had originally believed BigHAIR had fled the country on a QANTAS flight, but current sightings have forced officials to re-examine the evidence. Recent accounts place BigHAIR on the west coast. One sighting was reported in Los Angeles, CA, where BigHAIR was "barrelin' down the boulevard, looking for the heart of Saturday night". Later that day, another witness spotted BigHAIR on the Pacific Coast Highway, heading north and "crusin' up the coast on the FM drift". Mysteriously, a few days earlier, BigHAIR was linked to an avalanche in Lake Tahoe, UT. According to local police, BigHAIR was seen "riding shotgun down the avalanche". The cause of the disaster is unknown at this time and there were no injuries reported. One skier said it was "so bizarre. A mystery that goes on and on and on." Evidence has surfaced that could possibly link BigHAIR with causing the avalanche by a "ricochet in time to the music". Earlier in the week, eyewitnesses had placed BigHAIR in the Midwest and Southeast. A local farmer reported seeing BigHAIR "riding down the back roads Tennessee". In Wichita, KS, local police received sightings of BigHAIR "riding on the air stream across the great lonesome afternoon". While preparing the fields for inclement weather, a farm hand in the Black Mountains area said he saw BigHAIR driving across "ten miles of two-lane on a South Dakota wheat plain, in the middle of a hard rain." Officials are perplexed by this seemingly random pattern. Criminal psychologists and experts are being called in from across the country to assist in tracking down this woman who has "always belonged to the fugitive kind". Eyewitnesses that have spoken to her are being detained and questioned at length. Unnamed sources report that BigHAIR is being "so reckless and wild" and may have "a list of names". Because of BigHAIR's known obsession with singer/song-writer Shawn Colvin, local authorities in Austin, TX, have been alerted. Ms. Colvin has been warned, but does not appear to be concerned, according to friends of the musician. Ms. Colvin has reportedly invited BigHAIR for a cup of "spinach tea". When questioned by reporters, Ms. Colvin made a brief statement: "But I got the big book and antidepressants." Authorities are asking anyone with information that could lead to BigHAIR's arrest to call the special taskforced hot line, 1-800-BIGHAIR. Do not attempt to apprehend this misguided fugitive who "didn't believe in transcendence." ******************* 'All this time I've been a face in the crowd.
