Hey Kat: That's the first time I've ever heard that Shawn's middle name might be Louise, but you may be on to something. So, your car's name is Louise. Well, my car's name is Betty and she's a sleak little number - a blue Pontiac Grand Prix SE, with sports GT tires. She can get a bit sassy at times, but she always purrs like a kitten for me. Before Betty there was Monty, Myrtle, and my first - Betsy. I'm sure your Louise is a lovely gal. My Betty loves to roll through town with Shawn playing on her stereo and her windows down. No complaints from the neighbors so far. Which reminds me, does anyone else out there do this??? The very first tape I ever played in "Betty" was Shawn's "Steady On." The first CD I played in my new house was "Fat City." I bought a new boombox to sit on my desk at work. The first CD I played was "A Few Small Repairs." I bought a new Sony Walkman a few years back, and the first thing I listened to was my trusty home-maid "Best of Shawn" tape. When a friend of mine bought a new car with a CD player in it, I rushed over with "Steady On." Anyone have similar stories? It was HER head.) Details. Anyway, yeah, we heard from Sean Petrie's site, I believe, that Shawn's parents are online. In an interview he did with her, she said that her parents and sister were online, but that she herself tried to stay out of the loop. Well, I suppose that's it... OH, maybe not.... Anna's thinking....... you know, a flea just jumped off of her. I'm not kidding. . oh well, she can't remember. We're all getting senile. Anything west of the Mississippi pretty much sounds the same. On the pronunciation of Shawn's last name, I too heard her pronounce it CALL-vin on GMA. I guess we should take Darwin Stearns' word for it that her parents say COAL-vin. Sometimes PR people make changes like that, on purpose, just to confuse us.
