But it's nice to know it's here and hopefully will stay here too. I'm on facebook and sometimes there's no input there either for weeks. But since Richard is also on f/b or someone who manages it for him, we get to see any new videos he posts. While I do love the videos, I would love it if he just said something beforehand, maybe a little information about the song, his inspiration, when/where he wrote it, etc. It's a little disappointing to see him turn the camera on, play the song, then without a word, shuts the camera off. But at least it's something. And I have also hesitated to post song lists because I have also discovered he seems to do the same songs. That's why I have stopped going to see him when he plays different venues that aren't too far from me in successive nights. I use to love doing that really. I mean no disrespect to him, his music is very important to me and I will always follow the man wherever his music leads.B I was very excited at his last concert, he seemed really on, really relaxed and did much more talking than he's done in the past.B Please no, what was that term, flames? We need to learn not to get upset, just move on. I can tell you, I have been involved many a brew ha ha, which lead me to leave list. But I have learned over time, just ignore it. Keep doing what you do on a list. There is so much one can write about a performer I gather and I own a Yahoo folk singer list and its has no activity. I try to keep it going with what CDs I have purchase, concerts, etc. but then I have gotten lack on that list too, as we all have other things in life. In March I posted 8 times, April 3 times and May 5 times, then I got busy with biking and baseball the list used to average 25 to 50 times a months among the group. I was on a hobby list, too many battles, that still has over 50 post a day, which was fine for me, as I did not read every one. Richard has talked about the songs in the past, but this concert was great, as he spent most of his time, singing. I am not a fan of performers being stand up comics, while trying to do a concert, as I can name quite a few, I follow. I know that Richard does Club Passim several days in a row, as I believe he is there next week and will be on concert window. I have enjoyed the many times he has played there on concert window with his back up when he uses them and when he does not. I am not a TV person except for sports and news, so I probably will watch next week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday, not sure, as I am having Tommy John surgery on the wrist, to match the other wrist. Song list are put of the general interest of a list like this, as it only takes a second to delete anything that one does not want to read. I have deleted post here that do not interest me but I respect that others might like to read what ever the post that gets posted. One thing that I do not allow is others telling what others what is allowed on my folk list, flaming, etc. My list is not moderated by me, but it can be. but there is nothing to moderate anyway, just the nature of a list where ever it is. https://www.facebook.com/Tim-Flannery-and-Lunatic-Fringe-199562273460277/ This is a good friend of mine who has a Facebook page, I am able to look at it from time to time, but not post since I am not a member and that is fine. Tim does a lot of impute to the list. Tim used to be the 3rd baseball coach for the San Francisco Giants and he played for San Diego in the 90s, while writing songs in his head, as he did while coaching he told me. Tim is a regional performer, but a great guy for someone who had a career in music. again, a list is what the owner and members make it. So there is still members here and that is good. O:)! As Tim said to me, in a recent email from him, Peace.
