I've gotten lots of "friend" requests, but I've ignored almost all of them. So I don't get any of the kind of annoying stuff you mentioned. It got old for me, with people telling jokes, and I do not need to know every little thing they are doing, it got overwhelming. For those who like Facebook, great, its not for me, I don't have the time for it. the Pinehill Project, I first heard the CD streamed on Folk Alley, did not care for it. But once I saw Lucy and Richard do the CD live this past Spring, that did something as I got the CD and now I like it. I see the Shindell Facebook page, is not closed to non members I think. (Tim also had almost a 40 year career in Major League Baseball and he has 12 CDs of music. He also is a friend, so I can write to him, without being able to respond on Facebook) Is Shindell the owner of the Facebook page that was written here this week? So for now, I will continue to write when I see him in concert here. I am sorry to hear about the Spam, as I hope that does not determine that Ron one day shuts this down. I own a Yahoo Folk Singer list on Yahoo, and it gets no traffic at all. I am the only one who writes on what concerts I have seen, as I just posted a message to that list about the Shindell concert. that only has about 200 members and yes, I am sure many have faded away too, not unsubscribing. Well, I was one who watch all three concerts for Shindell, this week. Richard always does a good show, no matter if just him and acoustic guitar or with the others, as I think Lincoln, the bass player was missing from this weeks performance. Marc and Joe add a lot to the songs. I think Joe, does a different variation, for the same song, as tonight, he used a glass bottle on one song. Just a nice addition, Marc and Joe. Sort of reminds me of Neil Young with Crazy Horse and then without, as Neil just did a nice acoustic tour with 4 nights at Carnegie in NY. And yes, Richard, did a lot of promoting of the new songs, for the new and awaited CD, come 2015. Looks like his tour dates only go to April 6. Hopefully he will be adding more dates.
