On the flip side, he seems more relaxed the last twice I've seen him about it, and doesn't seem to mind someone recording a particular song for their own use as long as it's unobtrusive. Hi Don, He mixed it up with both but stuck with the acoustic for the most part. Being married to a guitar player, you think I would notice things like that but I didn't. But one thing is clear, he really likes his electric guitar! I think he played Careless with it because it had a very bluesy feel to it. ________________________________ From: Don Vining To: shindell-list@smoe.org Sent: Tuesday, October 22, 2013 8:02 AM Subject: [RS] Electric vs acoustic? Hi list, It would be nice if folks reporting on concerts give an indication of the sort of instruments he's playing this year. Hopefully he has seen the error of his ways. Not all artists are comfortable with people coming into their studio and checking out works in progress, but when your studio is a public venue that people are paying to enter and be entertained by you... Does anyone know what Richard's attitude towards this topic is? ~John Boston ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Oct 2013 20:09:40 -0400 From: Howie Subject: Re: [RS] RE: New stuff at shows Unobtrusive? I also found out some great new artists from this list, David Francey among others. I would like some more suggestions to add to Pandora. I would like to say one more thing about Richard's concerts: imagine going to see him after not seeing him for a few years only to find he's playing basically the same set list.
