I actually wanted to compliment RS for his production on her albums, but didn't want to sound like an idiot trying to pronounce her name. I guess I could have said his harmonies on Lori McKenna's "Never Die Young" are the true icing on the cake on one of my favorite songs. On the exam was a two part question about Transit, why? I have no idea. Question one was where does the song begin Question two was how old was Sister Maria in the song, as I do not think she has a age. Maybe that came up since I posted a obit of a Sister Maria yesterday. Weird. Food for thought. That being said, "Hold On" would be a cool cover - although I personally feel Jake Bush of Pesky J. Nixon owns this song. Have a great weekend, all! - -Jim C p.s. re: the Civil War still being alive in this country, check out the book "Confederates in the Attic." I read this in the summer following a book by the same author about John Brown. I often hear songs that I know RS could do wonders with. Currently on my list are some Warren Zevon songs like Lawyers, Guns and Money, and Carmelita. I also think he would do an amazing job of Hold On by Tom Waits. ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V12 #435 ************************************
