Although it's an easy round for me, "Courier" and "Wisteria," (setting up my personal -- although unlikely -- dream/doomsday final pairing scenario), it's an interesting round. First pairing is a couple of classic Richard songs from the canon of persona-taking wartime period pieces. Second pairing is two songs from SNP that couldn't be more different from each other. In "Reunion Hill" and "Wisteria," we have a couple of Richard's most wistful songs, and both in DADGAD. In "Courier" and "Transit" we have the first and last original songs on the live album. In "Reunion Hill" and "Transit" we have two songs that got First Round byes. The other two had to face off against a couple of fan favorites, "Abuelita" and "Che Guevara T-Shirt." Keep those votes coming in! RG ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 08 Mar 2013 19:05:12 -0500 From: "Michael & Linda Marmer" Subject: Re: [RS] Final Four. very nicely done, the song. By the way, the people who live in this house now are fans of Shindell's music, as he visited the house and did knock on the door. They where fans before the visit.
