At Darryl Purpose's CD release show a week back or so, the promoter said Lucy and RS were supposed to play here in December at Avogadro's Number in Fort Collins, but RS cancelled. So Lucy will come after the New Year by herself. RS hasn't been here since the post-hatchet incident tour with Antje. - -john - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: "Carol Love" To: "shindell-list@smoe.org" Sent: November 15, 2012 1:02 PM Subject: Re: [RS] new Richard album! "Project update.... The new record (still untitled) is shaping up nicely. My pal Greg Anderson and I have been ensconced in Scott Petito's amazing studio near Woodstock, NY for the past two weeks. Every day is another revelation, when one great musician after another comes in and proceeds to play the most glorious stuff. Yesterday, Lucy Kaplansky swooped in for some harmony. So much fun. Today we had David Spinozza , Joe Bonadio, and Clifford Carter. Also this week: Bill Holloman, Dan Hickey. Previous sessions: Marc Shulman , Sara Milonovich, Larry Campbell, Ben Wittman. I'm so lucky to be able to work with such talented people. Having a blast." Admittedly, nothing in there confirms that it's new material being recorded, but that would be my interpretation.
