It was several years ago, when some people had briefly taken over the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth. Richard was playing at McCabe's in Santa Monica, and announced: "Today the Church of the Annunciation was liberated, thank God. This next song takes place . . . well . . . there." I can't imagine a more fitting introduction to that song!
