I love this place, everyone is so kind and helpful. We managed to get pretty good seats considering we were kinda in the back of the line. Lincoln was there along with Marc Shulman. Richard played a wonderful set, he was very much on and alot of joking was going on between them. From what I heard, it was a sold out show. He did alot of requests, I don't know how these people got their requests to him but there was some good ones. The highlight for me was Richard playing the Mountain. He said some kind words about Dave and followed it up with So Says the Whipporwill. He stayed with one guitar for the most part, borrowing another from Marc for a song or two. During AYHN, I sensed a sing along coming but it was a quiet one. Quite a few people laughed at the 'take the candy with you too' line and some laughed during Transit which surprised me. Here's the list: Fenario Stray Cow Blues Beyond the Iron Gate-sung slowly, the way he said it should've been recorded The Mountain So Says the Whipporwill Mavis, which kinda went on a bit long (I'm not fond of this one) Gethsemani Goodbye Satellites - a new one but not sure what it's about Get Up Clara Balloon Man AYHN Last Fare Transit encore: Blue Divide - I loved this one! Hopefully, others will post their reviews as well? Janet ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V11 #37 ***********************************
