When he introduced "Walden Well" I started clapping in recognition. There were thousands in attendance under a moonlit sky, yet my clapping was, well, conspicuous. He looked out into the night and said, "How could you know this song?" After the show, I waited awhile to say hello and tell him how much I enjoyed the show and South of Delia. I explained that I was the "clapper" and that Bridey and I had caught his show several times recently (and heard WW twice in one show in Pittsburgh after his son arrived late) -- odd to think about it now -- it was important enough for him to want to play for his son, but he left it off NFN -- too bad. Anyway, back at FR, I said that I had heard a radio broadcast earlier that day on an Albany station and he just looked at me in his deadpan way and said, "So, you're a stalker." Guess he knows about us, folks... Pete in PA ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V10 #114 ************************************
