The song is placed in that context. You'll now probably want to listen again. It was driving me crazy wondering who was playing the mandolin on this song. I should have known it was Mark Erelli. He's a wonderful, talented singer/songwriter who I think is way underrated. I saw him once play to a room of maybe 12 people but he played and rocked that room like it was a full house. > AUGEN, OHREN UND HERZ > Antje: vocals, acoustic guitar Is this a hidden track? It's not offered on itunes. And for that Silvio Rodriguez cover on the upcoming album, I found this video that flashes pictures as the song is being played. Such a pretty song! There's an original called "Home Team," a song Richard wrote back in 1988, the year the Baltimore Orioles opened their season with 21 consecutive losses. It's not on any of his official CDs, but there's a version on the 1992 WWUH "Folk Next Door" compilation, if you can find it. There's also a wonderful version of Cry Cry Cry doing Tom Paxton's classic "Last Thing on my Mind" on a compilation called "Bleecker Street." And Richard doing "Paddy's Green Shamrock Shore" on a compilation called "Falcon Ridge Main Stage." >> Are we allowed to talk about trading concert recordings on this list? (I've never heard it come up as a topic) << Generally no, based on a one-time request from Richard. Not to say it can't (and doesn't) happen off-list, but I'd prefer to err on the side of Richard being of the same mind as far as that's concerned. It's a lovely children's song, written and sung in German. Perhaps the most beautiful thing on the CD.
