He reconsidered (possibly even after seeing the reaction on this list) I would not put too much faith into anything being posted here as having a bearing on what Richard chooses to release or record. In 2000, perhaps, but not now. (Not that I'm saying there's anything wrong with that, for the record.) - -Jim C ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Feb 2009 10:44:21 -0800 From: "Bill Chmelir" Subject: [RS] Strength Through Weakness Evelyn, You're going to love the next four years if what you want in a President is one who publicly admits his mistakes. All Presidents make mistakes, and if the next 4 years are anything like the last 3 weeks, President Obama won't have time to do anything but apologize. Because of his perceived weakness, Kyrgyzstan plans to evict us from the Air Force base used to resupply our forces in Afghanistan. Pakistan has released A.H Khan, provider of nuclear technology to our enemies, from house arrest. He has appointed multiple tax cheats to his cabinet including his Secratary of the Treasurey who is the head of the IRS (I couldn't help feeling like a surf filling out my tax return this weekend - how about you?). I could go on and on. Sometime in the future, I think Richard should do a childrens album. The first song could be called "Hopey Changey Baby!". Sorry. Sorry. I know dissent on this page is not appreciated. No more politics, really... Bill > > "State of the Union" is just too damn good a song! After having seen President Obama's "Buck > Stops Here" tirade, let us hope he really means it. Damn, I haven't heard > the word "accountability" out of a prez for 8 years!
