Oh well! I will be at Falcon Ridge too. I'll be getting there Thursday morning. Maybe I'll wear my Che shirt. Other than that I don't know how we'll know each other. Three of the folks I'll be coming to Falcon Ridge with (we're a group of six, all together) have never been to a folk festival before, so I just spent some time searching YouTube for clips of several of the performers to send them. There is really a wonderful video of Tracy and Jim playing "Preston Miller" up there, and also a great video of Richard doing "Next Best Western" with some hilarious stage banter at the beginning. Definitely great pre-fest watching. - --V On 7/23/07, Bill Chmelir wrote: > > For a "Beatles Forever" workshop do you suppose Richard and Lucy will > throw > together an acoustic version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds full of > phycodelic folksy hamnonies? > > Bill - who will not be attending the festival because I am Nowhere Near > Patterson > > > "The nation that will insist upon drawing a broad line of demarcation > between the fighting man and the thinking man is liable to find its > fighting > done by fools and its thinking by cowards." - Sir William Francis Butler > - -- "True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar. I'm just glad Lucy and Richard will be doing the "Sweet Harmony" workshop, and then their sets are back-to-back on Sunday, which is very conducive to impromptu harmonizing. If folks are into the idea of doing a scheduled get-together, maybe we could make a sign for folks to gather 'round. - --V On 7/23/07, Janet Cinelli wrote: > > I see they'll be no Cry3 reunion. I'd love to get in on that. It'd be great to (finally!) meet other members of the listserv! - --Chris - -- "We were born in a dark age out of due time (for us).
