It's a short post drawing attention to a little-known artist covering "Reunion Hill," who gets Richard's stamp of approval. High praise, right? from: http://www.richardshindell.com/index.php?page=news&display=286 Gurgie Monday, May 21st, 2007 One of the great pleasures of being a songwriter is to have one's songs covered. It's always fascinating to hear how others approach phrasing, inflection, tempo - even pitch. This version of Reunion Hill, however, is especially noteworthy. The singer, Gurgie, is still relatively unknown, but no less an artist for being so. One can only hope that this brilliant, genre-busting version might catapult him to the wider recognition he (?) so richly deserves. Thank you Gurgie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBSnujOEhCI - -- "True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar. I had no idea. I googled "John Gorka" because I'm seeing him play this Sunday, found the wikipedia article, et voila! A link to a page about the Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band! And I'm sure that was never there before. Turns out it just got put up this past December. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Razzy_Dazzy_Spasm_Band - --V On 10/17/06, Bobdog25nj@aol.com wrote: > > Hey Sharon!
