Got it in my iTunes. Mine did not however, fetch the song info. No biggie. Also doesn't show the cover art though Courier and Sparrow's Point do. Lovin' SOD! good segueway = Humpback Whale into "Blue" by Joni Mitchell....shivers and goosebumps to be had.... :) Em > My computer has better sound quality than my stereo (sad, I know), > so > when I received SOD this afternoon I loaded it onto my computer. > Half of the songs crackle and skip. (The only skip is typically me skipping over BITUSA.) - -jim ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 24 May 2007 06:08:48 -0700 (PDT) From: Em Subject: [RS] Senor I have to say that Richard's cover of this has really redefined the song for me. Even though Dylan's "Street Legal" is one of my fave of his albums, for some reason that song was never one I was much drawn to. Dylan was just getting into that "voice" of his that I can't handle quite as much. And "Senor" is one cut on Street Legal he did in that nasal voice (which he stuck with) as opposed the shouter/belter voice left over from Rolling Thunder, that he uses on other tracks. But Richard's delivery has me all in wonder at the brilliant turns of phrase and the human emotion the song contains. The pictures! The PICTURES! so he has restored a great Dylan song to me. It has become one of my very faves on Delia. It really annoys as does the horn section (I think it was horns.....I haven't listened to "Street Legal" in quite awhile.) I love Tim O'Brien's cover of this song too. They both are great in different ways; it's on his Dylan covers album if anyone is interested. Em wrote: I have to say that Richard's cover of this has really redefined the song for me.
