His work on the slide guitar was very good. And John, we were right across from you Row E, seats 2 & 4. If I do consider going back to the place, maybe I'll look into the mezzanine like Bonnie suggested. Sorry we missed each other. Next time, we have to do a pre-show dinner! BTW, did Richard do a meet and greet? There seemed to be an incredibly long line towards the cd table. Janet Tired of spam? Yahoo! He played, of course, with Sara M and Greg A. Started around 8:50 after the opener Craig Cardiff's half hour set (I enjoyed him quite a bit) and a 20 minute intermission (this venue gives out free snacks and sodas, very nice). Anyway... 01) Fenario 02) Kenworth Of My Dreams 03)Lawrence, KS 04) Che Guevara T Shirt 05) Waiting For The Storm (Richard introduced it as 'Storms Are On The Ocean' but played 'Waiting') 06) Reunion Hill 07) Sitting On Top Of The World 08) Hazel's House (solo) 09) There Goes Mavis 10) Senor 11)Transit 12)Fishing 13) Walden Well (new, mentioned in yesterday's post about the NY show) 14) Are You Happy Now 15) Last Fare Of The Day 16) Arrowhead 17) Northbound 35 (encore) Overall, I enjoyed the show very much. I've never been to the venue before (a Unitarian Church in central Jersey) but I would definitely return there again. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Apr 2007 20:55:41 -0400 From: "brian treacy" Subject: [RS] Re: Setlist Saturday Night in NJ Sorry for the follow up post to my own post, I forgot to mention that There Goes Mavis was also solo, and the show wrapped up around 10:40pm, making for about an hour and fifty minute long show. Thanks, Brian ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V9 #65 **********************************
