Richard sings on two tracks, and there is a note stating that 'Richard Shindell appears courtesy Hybrid Records.' Vuelta was released on Koch Records, and a check of Richard's page on Koch's site breathlessly announces a tour set to begin on August 24, 2004. The upcoming covers CD 'South of Delia' is, by all reports, an independent release. A search for Hybrid Records unearths the most likely candidate, an indie label headquartered in Manhattan whose roster includes Gin Blossoms, Vertical Horizon, Jen Chapin and Bob Weir (but not Richard). I don't think Richard signed with the Hybrid Records from Germany, beased on their stated mission: >>A hybrid is the interbreeding of plants of different kind. That principle >>is employed by Hybrid Records with their music style: from Danchall via >>Reggae and Ragga over RnB to Rock thru Dance/Pop, different styles flow >>together in their productions. << OK, probably not them, then. So, does anyone have any info as to the label change?
