Hey... I was thinking about Richard - and the new CD - the when he will next be in the New York area. So - as we all remember - the show he was supposed to play in November at "The Concert Hall" in New York City ( the Society For Ethical Culture building on Central Park West ) - was canceled. Remember - this was the show with Tom Paxton. And then it was re-scheduled for Friday, April 20th. I looked - it's not sold out. Hmmm. I might go. Or... There's the following night: Saturday, April 20th, 2007 Concerts At The Crossings , Unitarian Universalist Church at Washington Crossing, 268 Washington Crossing-Pennington Road, Titusville, NJ. _http://www.crossingconcerts.com/_ (http://www.crossingconcerts.com/) So - can anyone tell me about this venue? Ever been here? It's a church type building yes? Probably a much smaller and more intimate place to see Richard? But - I assume without Tom Paxton? Maybe an hour and a half drive - or maybe even two hours for me. ( I live near Paramus - the center of commerce here in The Milky Way galaxy ). But I might do it if I thought it was the difference between being reasonably close to the stage - or being pretty far away. Plus - might run into George Washington's ghost again I guess. Looking for some input here. They have a nice schedule coming up - also Tracy Grammer and Maura O'Connell ( on separate nights ). And a Neil Young tribute show with The Kennedy's. But a tad far. see ya... Bob Paterson ps - We have Vance Gilbert coming up this Friday night in Montclair, NJ. _www.outpostintheburbs.org_ (http://www.outpostintheburbs.org) always a funny and good time. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Jan 2007 01:31:58 -0500 From: Rongrittz@aol.com Subject: [RS] Concerts at the Crossings. >> So - can anyone tell me about this venue? Nice place, but I wouldn't call it intimate. If I recall correctly, the room was about the size of the big room at the Hurdy Gurdy at the Central Unitarian Church in Paramus.
