April eh? Too far ahead to think about though my daughter and I were just reminiscing about having breakfast at a restaurant called Bob Evans. When she went to school in PA. we'd go there often. I think it's a chain, like Dennys, though neither of them are on L.I. For some Richard content, a few weeks ago my husband's brother was visiting from England. My husband was playing "Wisteria" on the guitar, just playing, not singing when my his brother said, 'That's really beautiful. Did you just make that up?' Ha ha! Janet PS loved those pictures from King of Prussia. It would be interesting to see fellow lister's pictures of Richard, if anyone has any that is. I have a couple though I don't have the technological know-how to do it! Tired of spam? Yahoo! Hey Janet - if the photos are digital and on your pc you can upload them to this free site. I just created an account. I think you need to login to add pics- carrie_in_kc, password is mavis. I put a few out there. Most of mine were taken with too slow shutter speed and lousy quality. Next time I'll get some good ones. If anyone has any pics feel free to post away!! It's public so anyone can view. http://s93.photobucket.com/albums/l44/carrie_in_kc/ carrie in kc > > PS loved those pictures from King of Prussia. For those of you not on Richard's mailing list, here's the latest: _ _ _ _ _ _ _ This is to alert you to the fact that HelpArgentina has been named as one of the finalists in the 2006 ePhilanthropy Awards. This is wonderful news. Not only is it well-deserved, not only are they in some very good company, but most importantly it will raise the visibility of all of the affiliated organizations, of which Crecer Con Amor is one. HelpArgentina needs your votes! If you're so inclined, click on the following link in order to vote: http://www.imakenews.com/eletra/gow.cfm?z=ephilanthropy%2C141419%2Cb19pfKTy%2C952621%2Cb84dh5r And while I've got you here, I would urge you to check out HelpArgentina Night. Here's the link if you'd like to get involved: http://www.helpargentina.org/nocheha.php I'll let them speak for themselves. Suffice it to say that I'll be hosting my own Noche (along with a friend) on the 29th. Elsewhere, all's well. I've been writing quite a bit - a couple of new songs on the guitar, another on the piano (my first), and a short-story. So I should have some new things to play for you during the November tour. The record's in the can. The wait continues... Finally, look for a forum page to be added to the website in the very near future. All the best, Richard ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V8 #157 ***********************************
