I wrote it about four or five years ago. I guess Scott and Richard like it so much they never thought to update it. Hey Scott, I'm available if you need me... Shawn choose to have a child and spend some time raising her. Her subsequent divorce and NOW much discussed depression ( she is a spokesperson for the company that makes Welbutrin) - Shawns drop out was to care for her personal life.... Men dont have to drop out to have a baby... She could choose to tend to her life and not her career, though many women like suzanne and dar are tending to both simultaneously..... BYW, shawns next release will be on september 12. As for cds later in an artist career that are killer.. Dolly Partons last two bluegrass cds Suzanne Vega's Red and Grey Mary Chapin's Stones in the Road Joni Mitchells Blue or Hejria Linda Ronstadts Lving in the USA and Whats New The Band- Big Pink Johnny Cash- Folsom Prison Blues Dylan -Blood on the Tracks Jackson Brown had a series of great cds Springsteen- Born to Run I would rather see Artists experiment and be influenced with new material than hear the same cd remade over and over and over..... though we always remember our first time...... dont we....... ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 10 Jun 2006 11:13:07 EDT From: Rongrittz@aol.com Subject: Re: [RS] first cds and more >> Ron, im disappointed you would say she "dropped out". shawn was in her mid 40s and had to make a personal decision, TO HAVE A BABY.... << I don't believe I made any value judgments about WHY Shawn chose to drop out, simply that she did.
