Looks like I'm sitting right behind you Bonnie (Row B seat 105) ...it was quite funny when I called for the ticket. The guy said to me "well I have a seat in second row center, but if that's too close I have more in the back"....too close?! too close?! I laughed at him :) - -Kristen >From: Openingstar@aol.com >Reply-To: shindell-list@smoe.org >To: shindell-list@smoe.org >Subject: [RS] Quick Center Tonight..few tickets are left !!! >Date: Sat, 19 Nov 2005 09:09:26 EST > >Bonnie the lurker...and longtime fan of Richard and Lucy here. >Anyone going to the show at Fairfield University Quick Center in CT >tonight? > >I called yesterday and a few tickets are still available ! > >I'll be sitting in Row A seats 104 and 105 (curly hair) if anyone wants to >say hi. > > I am sooooo looking forward to this ! While Richard always wants us wanting more, tonight's show (with Lucy) felt special. Richard seemed very relaxed and talked quite a bit to us between songs. Richard opened solo, I am unsure of first song, then did Mavis, Senor, Cancion. Fenario, Big Muddy, and closed set with Transit. ( setlist maybe not complete, and maybe not in right order-sorry) Very touching and some of my favorite RS songs. Glad it was dark so the tears weren't obvious. Lucy did a nice job opening second set, doing a few songs alone, then Richard joined her for a couple, then she played one or two more, Richard came back out and they played together, including an awesome "cold Missouri Waters" and Guineviere. Final encore was "love hurts" (from days when we still had leaded gasoline)..as a duet. Very sweet number in their hands. Richard only used an acoustic and an hollow body electric- sounded great-Quick center a real nice venue. Hope to hear from others lucky enough to have been there tonight.
