Thanks! We still have some room if anyone wants to see We're About 9 this Sunday. Please go to www.courthouseconcerts.com for info. By the way, WA9 has been invited to play at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival for 2005. Don't let that stop you from coming this Sunday... I don't know how long this has been up, but Koch Records has a fine looking RS page on their site. It can be accessed through the drop-down artist listing on their main page. Richard is also featured on the 'Adult Contemporary Artists and Legends' front page, along with Christine McVie, Steve Forbert, Joan Baez, and Laura Love. The page also features a fairly lengthy biography that would be a great intro to Richard for a new fan. One thing - maybe I'm dense, but I can't figure out what Richard is doing in the picture on this page. Stringing a guitar? Starting a fire with two sticks? HELP!!! That's the tab from the tea bag in his left hand, and that's a stirring implement in his right hand. The reason I think that is partially that I think I've seen that pic before, only not so cropped that time, and I recall that that time, he definitely was making tea. - --V On Wed, 23 Feb 2005 08:56:27 -0500, Gene Frey wrote: > One thing - maybe I'm dense, but I can't figure out what Richard is doing in > the picture on this page. Either that or starting a fire with two sticks! His hair looks funny in this picture though. Isabel reminded me that she had read something about Richard making tea (yes, we have a life) and the handy-dandy search feature in the Shindell list archive found this, along with many, many listings of clubs with the word 'tea' in their name. Thanks to Janet and Vanessa for helping clear this up. Making a fire with two sticks would have been a cooler picture, but the mystery is solved.
