He played Fenario and Mavis in the first hour and Che and Big Muddy in the second. Richard talked about how he had thought he was just going to record what became Vuelta in NY like the other albums but then decided that he was just being a big chicken. He also said that he has many more pop sounding songs half finished (he liked the chord progressions but didn't think they sound right with the dirges he usually writes). Richard said that this album is les edgy than SNP and that he generally likes the characters on this album more than those on the past ones. He singled out the daytrader in Confession saying that he felt some sympathy but didn't particularly like him. Richard also discussed the changes that he sees in America, with the increased nastiness in politics coming mainly from the conservative side.
