On a different note, we had a wonderful New Year's Eve experience-The Point in Bryn Mawr, PA hosted a wine tasting dinner with Al Stewart. It was a pricey evening, but very well worth it. I've been an Al Stewart fan since the mid-seventies, he like Richard, is a wonderful storyteller. It was nice to see him in such an intimate venue. He was accompanied by a musician named Dave Nachmanoff-extremely talented! Anyway, as we were leaving I suggested to the owner of the Point that they have RS host New Year's Eve next year. He seemed to ponder it, at least for a moment! Toby West Chester, PA ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 2 Jan 2005 10:00:24 -0600 From: "kunigunda" Subject: Re: [RS] Re: Torrent sites? I'd never heard of it either....found these links with some explanation plus other sites. Appears to provide a means of downloading large files, such as movies, in a relatively short time. http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2004/12/31/1104344993234.html?oneclick=true http://www.neowin.net/comments.php?id=26353&category=main http://dessent.net/btfaq/#what c in kc - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sandra J. WHen I was on the Al Stewart mailing list, I recall that Dave was on the list and I think I have a couple of his cassettes (from the ancient days of cassettes). Nice to think that he now gets to play WITH Al! So those of you buying Richard's guitars, your day will come! I think that makes 3 Al Stewart "fans" here. Anyone else? (Let's use "fans" in a qualified sense)... Al is also a storyteller but more often from the perspective of the king than the courier.
