There are several pages on Guevava including Jim's recollection of meeting Ernesto in a pub. http://www.jimfitzpatrick.ie/ I'm not really sure where I stand on Che. He was trained as a doctor, which would indicate his interest in helping others. He championed the struggle of the oppressed and economically disadvantaged. But, it has become clear that communism and socialism don't work over the long haul. Guevara ultimately embraced violence and violent revolution as a means for change. Violence that is unfortunately still prevalent today. What's odd is that many will buy and wear Che accoutrements without really knowing why or why not. Che Chic. Does anyone care to offer their thoughts on Che? If anyone haunts used bookstores, look up Jay Cantor's _The Death of Che Guevara_, an excellent early 80's novel, told from Che's POV, if I'm not mistaken. Then, there's also _Guerilla Warfare-_, an edited collection of his writings.
