Does anyone know what 'whites' is/are? Life is like a dogsled team. I never knew Lowell George had been a member of the Mothers of Invention. A friend of mine was one of the Mothers, in their later years. My favorite version of "Willin'" (after Lowell and Richard, natch) was by a local guy in a bar in Monterey in the late 70s. That guy nailed it! Sandy (looking forward to "Vuelta" and disappointed that RS decided not to include his cover of "America" on the album). ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V6 #144 ***********************************
