<Does anyone who was at the show know anything about the singer-<songwriter from Brazil that Richard so highly recommended?

Sorry, I don't have an answer to this question, but it made me wonder about other RS recommendations, such as favorite books, movies, other songwriters.  I know a list like this (esp. musical influences) could get pretty long, but it would be great to know which RS songs may have been influenced by a certain song, book, etc. (i.e. Fleur-de-lis was, in part, inspired by a college play RS was in, Dark of the Moon).  Or even just influences in general, not related to a particular song.

I know, I could probably scour the archives on this one, but thought a fresh discussion (including more recent RS commentary that people have heard) could be enlightening!
