The Yanks come into Fenway for a series. Quote the antagonist Shindell, "we've got you right where we want you." I thought I heard a Yankees game over my PC speakers; what a cruel joke. ;-) Pedro and my man Tim Wakefield (love that knuckleball) will mow them down. Red Sox Nation PS: Gotta get this in NOW. We all know what happens in Aug/Sept...Sox crash and burn :-) Then, "Wait'll next year." - --- "I'll put this cloud behind me, that's how the Man designed me I'm no stranger to the rain"... Smith" Subject: [RS] Just shoot me now I was really looking forward to this weekend. My husband and I had tickets to two great concerts: John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers at the Knitting Factory, and Richard Shindell at McCabes. We saw John Mayall last night; he was great. But I was really looking forward to seeing Richard. So tonight we got to McCabes early, stood in line outside forever, got inside, scored some decent seats, and sat and waited, and waited and waited. And then a jazz band came out and started playing. Richard Shindell was last night. We missed it. Somebody please shoot me and put me out of my misery. I've seen this one more than once, apparently for no reason-that I could identify. What's with the signatures? There are others, usually borrowed. Can't you create your own by-lines? Pretty scary if you were a spider, especially if you knew Boris. Very Creepy Crawly!
