In the recorded version of that song, I really don't remember him singing. Has he performed the song solo? I'm just curious, as that song really should never (IMO) be played by a guy, as it's such a poignant story of "the high school girl who thought sex would make her popular, but it didn't." And speaking of "Reunion Hill," I think all you folks who've said you've heard him blow the lyrics to the song are thinking of "Arrowhead," which Richard screws up regularly. After having seen him over 50 times now, I've never heard him mess up the former, whereas I can't remember the last time he DIDN'T mess up the latter. It hit me this morning on my way to work, i.e. sitting on the L.I. Expressway stuck in traffic! I don't know why I always get those two names mixed up. It was "Arrowhead" he messed up and every time I've seen him, he has had a problem with this song, come to think of it! Thanks for the clarification. Janet PS Thinking about it, that was the first song I ever heard him sing, in New Bedford 2000, when I didn't know who he was. I was so taken in with that song, it was like hearing a story that I could picture in my head while he was singing. I guess you could say that was the song that hooked me to his music! Don't know if he screwed it up that day! > > And speaking of "Reunion Hill," I think all you > folks who've said you've heard him blow the lyrics > to the song are thinking of "Arrowhead," which > Richard screws up regularly. Arrowhead and You Stay Here are the two of Richard's songs most likely to turn into a train wreck. Of course, both feature no chorus, and verses that start off the same, which makes them seem as though they'd be very easy to lose track of. Now, if only he had a nice mid-tempo, verse-verse-chorus-verse-chorus kind of song that he could do once in a while. Any come to mind?
