Yes - naming Freedom Fries is stupid. It cheapens freedom and makes us look like idiots. As for France, known for their haute cuisine; I think that calling fried potato slices topped with salt, that are served in fast food joints along with burgers - Emmmmmm BURGERS, and shakes, French Fries was insult enough. I believe it's a British song. I'm not sure who wrote it, and I'm not sure it is a song that Richard would ever play. I joined the Army National Guard 12 years ago for a number of reasons. To serve my country, to honor my fathers and grandfathers service, to fly helicopters, and yes to help pay for college. One of the biggest reasons I continue to serve is the comradery I feel with my fellow soldiers. More than any other song I know of, Two Little Boys brings to the surface the emotions I feel for my fellow soldiers. I guess I do happen to serve with my first best friend, my brother John, so maybe it effects me particularly. Two Little Boys: Two little boys had two little toys, each had a wooden horse Gaily theyd play each summers day, warriors both of course One little chap, he had a mishap, he broke off his horses leg He wept for his toy till he cried with joy when his younger playmate said Did you think I would leave you crying when theres room on my horse for two Climb up here mate well soon be flying, I can go just as fast with two When we grow up well both be soldiers and our horses will not be toys And I wonder if well remember when we were two little boys. Long Years passed, war came so fast, bravely they marched away Cannons roared loud and in the mad crowd the wounded and dying lay Out comes a shout, a horse dashes out, out from the ranks so blue Gallops away to where Joe lay, and then came a voice he knew Did you think I would leave you dying when theres room on my horse for two Climb up here mate well soon be flying, I can go just as fast with two Well you see that Im all a-trembling, perhaps its the battles noise But I think its that I remember when we were two little boys.
