What's the layout of the place? Tables & chairs? Standing room only? I'm hoping to head down for one of the show on March 29. Thanks! John ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 14 Mar 2003 13:48:01 EST From: JMoorehous@aol.com Subject: [RS] Pancho and Lefty I was surprised to see Pancho and Lefty on the set list--great song, and I'd love to hear his version. How long has he been doing it? It makes me wonder if he likes traditional outlaw ballads as much as he seems to like modern songs influenced by them (since P&L now gives him three of that sort that he covers, with Sonora's Death Row and Friend of the Devil). I had never heard him do it before, but it was a perfect fit for them. :-) SMOKEY "There's a huge trust. At a show out on Long Island a few years ago, Richard R, (my intended)and I requested it, and he demurred. Now, as it happens, we're gonna be at the Knitting Factory show, (10:30 Sat 3/29), and we're getting married a week later. If there's anyone on the list who has even an iota of pull or push, it would mean SOOOO much to hear that song together as we're taking a break from moving and wedding and logistics to have a night of fun and relaxation. The merging of two households with attendant kids and pets is, I believe a far more daunting task than any campaign any general ever dreamt up! So 'here's to all you moms and dads just hanging on together...' and hoping for sunny weather :-) Lea G ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 14 Mar 2003 22:27:02 +0100 From: "paul mepschen" Subject: [RS] Che T-shirts "Theresa (who has also heard Che Guevara T-shirt) ;)" I actually own a Che Guevara T-shirt.
