I've never seen him, and I've only recently purchased and listened to his Patterson recording. Any suggestions on what I should get before the show, what he's likely to be playing? How about Tracy Grammer (sp?)? Any suggestions on what I should get before the show, what he's likely to be playing?<< Dustin Hoffman's character in "The Graduate" received one word of advice- "plastics". I'll give you two "The Courier" It's a live album that Richard released a little more than a year ago and is the definite Richard Shindell album. Aside from "Transit", there's no overlap between The Courier and Somewhere Near Paterson. Richard will likely play songs off The Courier and SNP plus whatever new material he has plus possibly a cover of Paul Simon's "America" plus possibly a surprise or two. >> How about Tracy Grammer (sp?)? << Buy all three of the albums she and the late Dave Carter released: When I Go, Tanglewood Tree and Drum Hat Buddha. If you had to get one, I would say get Tanglewood Tree but I'm sure that others on the list would disagree. I forgot ... we're on the RS list here. Do we need to take this discussion elsewhere? : ) And buy Courier. Chris, it's a good idea to go to Dave & Tracy's website as well for bios, etc... http://daveandtracy.globalhosting.com/index.php Staying the course, Pam - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Friday, February 28, 2003 7:06 PM Subject: Re: [RS] tracy > Norman said > > > Yeah, Drum Hat Buddha has more Tracy on it, particularly Tracy taking lead > > in "Ordinary Town".
