I just installed it today and already: Hank Williams, Yaz, The Smiths, Nirvana, Elaine Silvers, Bill Monroe, some really obscure Bach kid. And the sound is good. I am in shock. They just played The Courier version of "Reunion Hill"--as I am in hock I still haven't gotten this cd. I adore my boyfriend but for Christmas he bought me an electric blanket. I suppose the giant tattoo on my forehead saying RICHARD SHINDELL: THE COURIER LIVE ALBUM didn't do it for him. I swear, this is like getting a weed wacker or cooking pot. Sigh. He is a lovely man except for this. My sister, bless her, did get me Linda Thomspon's "Fashionably Late" and yes it IS as wonderful as you have heard. Well it is only a few months until my birthday. I could try PAINTING HIS CAR with my Shindell request... Tom PS I love the new arrangement of this--it has a real simple elegance in this version. And the fake clapping is not distracting. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 14 Jan 2003 13:21:07 -0500 From: "Greg Z" Subject: [RS] RE: Reunion Hill Redux Tom926 wrote: Well gosh, one thing you can say for AOL 8.0--the radio is pretty cool. Greg Z replies: Tom, better luck next time. The album IS worth the lobbying! Fleur de Lis is also an outstanding version, as well as many others. I'm pretty happy to have it. No complaints here, let the artist and the experts decide how to do things.
