Hey all, If you're within 200 miles of any of these shows, in my book you're doing pretty good. Richard comes West of the Mississippi River for about 2 months every other year or so. It's time for westerners to organize, organize, organize! The Federal Government needs to got involved!! It's time for the one size fits all approach!!! I can see it now: The Department of Folk Artist Tour Schedule Fairness and Equal Distribution. That's Da FATS FED!!! They can occupy some of the office space made available by the Homeland Security Department consolidation. Damn, it's probably too late to slip it into the Homeland Security Bill. Maybe next year. Richard comes West of the Mississippi River for about 2 months every other year or so. Just for the record, I've never seen him without a minimum three hour drive attached! Anyone thinking about the 4/5 date in Media PA? That's a nice venue... I might try to make that one if anyone from the philly/western nj area wants to hook up. (In all fairness, I do believe there was a Baez show in harrisburg last year, which is about 1.5 - 2 hours.)
