The rest of the people on the list shunned those verbose guitar players and politely suggested we go elsewhere. So we created a sort of spin-off list for RS fans who play and want to talk about playing, guitars, strings, etc. If anyone would like to join our list feel free to e-mail me. It is a cozy little list with some amazing "people" resources. I tell ya, they know everything :-)! I totally agree that it is never too late to start learning. It is also really good for the aging brain to have to learn something totally new. Keeps it flexible (I'm serious about that- scientific fact). Just remember, its all about muscle memory. You can't force it. It will get the tiniest bit better every day. And something that seems impossible today, will approach doable in a few days. Really! So just do it! :-) Lisa ________________________________________________ Get your own "800" number Voicemail, fax, email, and a lot more http://www.ureach.com/reg/tag ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 20 Aug 2002 11:30:20 -0700 (PDT) From: adam plunkett Subject: Re: [RS] Guitar List I can't speak for everyone, but I see no problem with talking about the rechnical aspect. I find it interesting and informing. While I am interested in guitar playing, I'm not going to be able to handle post after post about the technical aspects of guitars... I think if you would like to hear about it, you should join the guitar list, as Lisa has so graciously offered. (Although, I don't think we "shunned" the verbose guitar players, Lisa, LOL) - ----- Original Message ----- From: "adam plunkett" To: Sent: Tuesday, August 20, 2002 2:30 PM Subject: Re: [RS] Guitar List > I can't speak for everyone, but I see no problem with > talking about the rechnical aspect.
