This was the first time I've seen Richard since he grew the beard. He walked right by me and made eye contact, I smiled and said excuse me as I let him pass up the aisle. I thought, "he looks familiar, where do I know him from?" then it dawned on me (d'oh!). He sat down for one big long wonderful set: Courier Castaway Beyond the Iron Gate Ballad of Hollis Brown Ballad of Mary Magdalene Summer Wind, Cotton Dress A song I have not heard which he described as "an Advent song." At first I thought it would be Nora, but then realized that Nora is more of an Epiphany song. Arrowhead Reunion Hill Are You Happy Now Abuelita Fishing Kenworth of My Dreams America (wow!) Transit ENCORE: Wisteria Sorry for the brevity of this post. I'm getting ready to head down the coast to see him tonight in Santa Cruz and need to get on the road soon. I'm still looking for a ticket, not sure if the show is old out or not. If someone from the list is going and has a ticket, I will be easy to find. I'll be the big guy walking around asking if anyone has an extra ticket! Feliz Cinco de Mayo a todos los Richard-listers!
