Today's Boston Globe has a short review of it you can access on-line. As usual Scott Alarik is much better at putting it into words than I am, so I'll leave you the link: http://www.globe.com/dailyglobe2/052/living/Baez_s_aura_still_glows_after_al l_these_years+.shtml He mentions Joan's comment about the age of the band members making her feel like she's in the soap opera "All My Children." However, not mentioned in the article, she also added the disclaimer "Richard, you're almost exempt." Whew! I guess she feels he can take it (aging well and all.) When she kidded with Tracy - "I hate people with perfect pitch" she modified it to "No dear, I hate the fact that they have perfect pitch" when Tracy looked kind of apologetic. It was a great time and all parties looked like they were having fun. Including me, of course! A shanachie is, from Old Irish via Scots Gaelic, a term for a skilled storyteller... ... who never travels to Europe! ;-) Dave. ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V4 #65 **********************************
