Hello, All - 

...or, at the very least, on Page 8 of Singout! Magazine...

Our very own Pat Power is famous (and no, it's not that Post Office gallery 
showing again...  ;-) - he is mentioned in a musical feature about Kitty 
Donohoe (spelled correctly this time, you might notice!) and her song, There 
Are No Words, written following the September 11 attacks.

Quoting but a small part of the article, Kitty says, "Joel Mabus and Pat 
Power (of the Ten Pound Fiddle Coffeehouse in East Lansing, Michigan) 
organized a benefit concert for the Friday of that week, September 14th, and 
I performed the song then, singing the words from the paper I had written it 
on.  The audience response was overwhelming and I was urged to record it...".

Congratulations, Pat (and Kitty) for the public nod... and the community 
outreach during that tragic time - more details can be obtained about the

I just received my issue of this today and was surprised to see my name
in the piece. I think Kitty had told me that they were going to include
her song in an upcoming issue, but I had forgotten about it until today.

By the way, Kitty's latest CD, "This Road Tonight", is reviewed in the
issue as well -- receiving quite a nice notice, I might add. Kitty has
one of the most gorgeous voices I've ever heard, and when she puts her
mind to it can write pretty good songs.

And while I'm promoting, I can't help but mention that I'm working with a
young woman who has just recently moved to the Boston area by the name of
Rachael Davis, who likewise has a stunning voice (Susan, Norman . . . you
want to back me up on this?). I need to do some serious updating on her
website, but you can find it at http://rachaelbdavis.com.
