Subject: [RS] Geez...

  I don't know who this Kevin person is, but I, for one, don't appreciate 
people using the Richard Shindell List to promote other artists so blatantly. 
 It's fine to mention someone new whose music you think other Shindell fans 
would like, but another to unabashedly go on about someone most of us have 
probably never heard of and then list that person's entire tour schedule 
here.  Call me cranky but it pi**es me off.  Plus, it's tacky.

With all due respect, the post was in response to someone ELSE'S post 
questioning what was happening with Son Volt, who clearly are a band I'd 
think most of us have heard of.

It's exactly questions and posts like that which may have turned many of us, 
for example, onto some previously "unknown" groups like Dave Carter & Tracy 
Grammer, whoever THEY are.

I, on the other hand, have never heard of Chuck Pyle.  ;-)
