Hi All I was at the 9pm show at Acoustic Cafe and agree with Lisa's assessment about the acoustics/mike (?) distortion....But it was great for me because I had front row seats and Richard was feeling quite relaxed and open. He improvised the songs he chose...ignoring the prewritten list and going by audience requests and his own feelings. I got to chat with him before the show and Richard will be turning 41 on Friday! I was wishing that I could have had the wherewithal(and the 'pipes') to lead the audience in a round of "Happy Birthday To You" after Richard's encore (an exquisite performance of Wisteria) ...but alas, I did not and hope Richard will get messages from this digest amongst others so he feels more loved than old on Friday. He also joked about the show at the Acoustic Cafe really being part of Falcon Ridge...like a (very) distant "B" stage..It was funnier the way he said it. Love. Peace & Happiness & Light wished to all Bonnie Margolis Stamford, CT ------------------------------ End of shindell-list-digest V3 #241 ***********************************
