I hope it makes it to the final version. I know that some folks are tired of it, but I never get tired of that one. Besides, Richard hasn't played it at a show I've been at in a couple years. >> Me, too. Plus, both versions (from Montclair and the Emelin) were great, although pretty different. Lucy sang harmony at the Emelin, but in Montclair, Whirligig's Greg Anderson played a mean bouzouki part. So inclusion of either would be terrific. Oh, and RG's two cents on the order of songs. I'd definitely open with "The Courier," and definitely end with "Transit," then "Reunion Hill" as an encore. And for a title, I'd pull something . . . anything . . . from "The Courier." "A Note Stashed in My Shirt" maybe? RG ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 17 Jul 2001 22:42:19 EDT From: Loracevoll@aol.com Subject: [RS] Re: Live Album Report Charlie, A good list!! I would add some of the KILLER covers he's done: "Calling the Moon" Dolly Parton's "Making Plans", "Paddy's Green Shamrock Shore" or his duet w/Lucy "Love Hurts"...... But then I realized, no need to do it live, because the version on the CD is quite pefect as it is. If I were in driving distance I would go. This "cruise" is at sunset. I may be a little partial from having grown up in Burlington, but I think that a sunset over Lake Champlain, with the Adirondacks in the background, is one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world. It definitely rivals any sunset I've ever seen in 16 years of living on the West Coast. I can't imagine a nicer setting to see Richard in. But then again, if it rains.......
