Thanks for all your help. When it came to crunch time, I was most comfortable with "Abuelita." The story really wowed everybody. I eeked out a nervous version. Played it again at the "Folkin' A" open mic in Worcester last night again and nailed it this time. This crowd was wowed even more by the story. When I of course gave due credit to the writer, seems the guy running the open mic (and part owner of the bar I believe) actually knows a certain Richard AND Charlie. It's not even a bad donation to your local library, which are often well stocked in esoteric jazz (least around here) but shamefully lacking in singer/songwriter and contemporary folk and acoustic music.
